Dear Experts,
My client is using over 200 functional locations in maintenance orders. Now they want to change the function location code that's why I want to activate alternate labeling system but I have following three questions.
1- Can I activate alternate labeling now or It should have been activated before functional location data upload ?
I tested a scenario, I created 3 new functional locations, then I activate alternate labeling, when i go to assign alternate label to already created functional location through (IL02 ---- Extra ---- Alternate labeling ----- Overview ------ select label system that i selected / created on my user profile via IL09 ------ click on change button ----- enter new label and press okay ----- system gives me message that Functional location does not exist). why this is happening ?
2- If alternate labeling is activated, can we enable all users to view and process same alternate labels?
Do we need to assign same labeling system to each user profile via IL09 ?
3- Can we use different structure indicator for alternate labels ?
