For WebIDE:

Goto Destination----> add your database -----> then go to webide--->create project---->your system details and its collections are auto populated on the left hand side---

For Eclipse:

Goto web.xml--->add server Config-----> use Odata/xsjs call to retrieve your data from database.

For your information: SAPUI5 can connect with any database. It dont have any restriction to use specific db.
