ODP learning doubt

Hi,

I was trying to learn about ODP. But I am confused.

I read SAP BW 7.4 – Real-Time Replication using Operational Data Provisioning (ODP)

This document says that ODP-SLT gives us the ODQ and real-time delta.

But how does the ODQ handle real time delta?

Then I saw video

SAP DS - Loading data from SAP ECC Extractors to SAP HANA(ODP) - YouTube

The teacher here uses data services (BW datasource from roosattr), BW datasource as a source ODP object and then transfers data to target template to be imported into HANA. He handles delta through change delta capture feature.

Where is ODQ here? Or is the document i.e. ODQ, a later development? So now SLT-ODP can handle delta without BODS?
