Automatic batch creation in quality inspection type 03

Hi all,

we have scenario for PP-PI. We are supposed to use inspection types 03 as well as 04. For header material we are supposed to (for which we are creating process order) receive multiple batches at the time of GR from production or @ order confirmation.

Now when we create partial lots at QM inspection type 03, we are supposed to get these batch nos automatically created and same batch no's will be proposed by system at the time of GR from production.

First thing is it possible to have automatic multiple batch no creation during inspection with inspection type 03? If yes is it possible to implement our own internal no range (alphanumeric) ?

Please let us know whether we need to use any specific user exit for same.
